Board policies are statements, adopted by the Board of Directors, which set forth the purposes and direction of the district as well as prescribe in general terms the organization and programs of a school system. The Asotin-Anatone School District's policies establish a legal record and accountability as prescribed by state and federal law.
Policies and procedures create a framework within which the superintendent, staff, students, parents, and patrons have a consistent, stable and continual direction on the actions of the school district and its practices.
