How Title I and LAP Help Children

Title I and LAP work to provide supplemental services to identified children who are low-achieving or at risk of low-achieving.
Title I and LAP
  • Identify students with the most educational needs.
  • Set goals for improvement.
  • Measures students progress using state standards.
  • Involve parents in the program.
  • Provide for more teachers and paraprofessionals.
  • Provide training for school staff.
  • Provide extra time for student instruction.
  • Supply teaching materials.
